RE: Splash guards?
Splash guards do help, but the front tires stick out so far they still fling stuff. I have just the FRONT GM guards, I like them and they fit perfect and the install is super easy. Probably the easiest guards Iv'e ever installed! The Husky guards are good quality, and are larger than the GM guards so I guess theoretically they should help with the fling factor a little more?
That comment from RealJeep about the lawn sprinkler gave me a laugh :D, you should see the side of my 3, two weeks of salt covered road gerdoo flung everywhere. I'd love a lawn sprinkler right about now,so long as it wasn't throwin ice![:o] :D |
RE: Splash guards?
So are those what I need to keep my windshield clean? It seams it's always in the nastiest spot in the mud pit when you're having to find the switch to turn the wipers on. :D

RE: Splash guards?
YES Steve#1, your truck would have been 35% cleaner with the splash guards.

RE: Splash guards?
LOL. My point exactly. If you are out having fun nothing is going to keep the beast clean. Everytime I leave the pavement I know I just scheduled a couple of hours with a water hose for me and my Hummer.

RE: Splash guards?
I've got the huskys in the front, but they dont seem to help much.
This is the only area that stays clean!!!! |
RE: Splash guards?
I installed the Huskeys front and rear. They block more than the OEM's.

I have the Husky guards as well. They don't eliminate the flinging but they help.
