Speakers On Roof.
 

Hi guys. Yes, I am the guy who asked about putting a disco ball in my H3. I never got around to doing that so I have another question. Is there anyway to mount 2 water-proof speakers to my OEM Roof rails. I am thinking about trying to get 2 Marine speakers and attach them to my roof rails and then run the wire into the radio. Any suggestions or thoughts? All are greatly appreciated.

I can't help you out with the speakers... I was just wondering what possible reason could you have? If you do get some waterproof speakers, get the ones that look like rocks.

It can be done, especially if you have the cross bars. Look at any wakeboard boat, the tower is usually covered in speakers. As for running the wires I have no clue. But I am interested in how it turns out.

I am thinking about getting a wake board tower speaker and put it on my cross rails. I just do not know how I will mount them to the cross rails.

I would just find the speaker wires and tap into those, can't imagine that it would do anything to the system, but there is only one way to find out, go for it
