I'm toying with the idea of fabbing up a rear "Baja-style" carrier on my slantback using a couple of cross bars. I'm only in the "thinking" stage right now though, not the building.

 

Seems like all you H3T guys keep thinking about it... so who is actually gonna do it???

LOL I love ruffling feathers... Ive drilled and cut into my body on the H3 already so its not like I live in a glass house... Sugarphreak I would have thought you would be the first to get something going...

Owner had closed shop for a while to redo things (second business) but has very recently reopened. Don't think he is doing the spare swing gate again or at least not yet but does have a few H3T rear bumpers in stock at the moment,,,won't last long though. Wouldn't be hard to replicate or fab one to add to the bumper, can post pics if you ever need. You can just move the Alpha emblem to the drivers side around the H3T emblem which is what I am going to do just haven't as of yet. My H3T emblem came a little crooked from the factory so remounting it as well and also blacking them all out then putting the H3T emblem higher to account for the Alpha emblem which is going below. Haven't done it yet as I am on the fence at the moment regarding another idea. I have an extra swing arm unfinished from THOR Parts closing sale a year or so ago that is longer. Customer special ordered it to mount a Jerry can next to the tire but backed out. Have thought of mounting a Roto Pax set up to it instead (full Jerry can is heavy plus adding that weight to the spare weight equels a lot of stress on the mount). Also thought about just making some backing plates and installing a double Roto Pax mount directly on the tailgate next to the swing arm. Would clear the bumper when lowered/opened.

Always really liked this set up too. Kind of the direction I've been going with my T. Next step is the rear over bed rack.

 

Great minds think alike! That's exactly what I was going to do haha. I'm going to paint the grille, door handles, rims, and mirrors black with Plasti-Dip I'm also thinking about painting the H3T emblem red with Plasti-Dip I'm not sure if that will look good but Plasti-Dip is removable so it's nbd. Just expressing my thoughts.
