AND they also stole the rearview mirror that had the backup screen. I'm looking at $1,700 to replace all this and it doesn't seem worth it for the small picture the mirrors screen gave me. My question is canI just buy a rearview mirror with the temp and compass (which the original backup mirror had) and hook it up to the original wiring and have the temp and compass work? I'm just going tobotch the backup camera set up if I can get the compass and temp ina regular Hummer mirror. Does anyone know if that will work?

maybe the theif heard someone and bailed. anywa, wouldnt insurance cover it??

 

Not sure on the wiring harness being compatable but I bet someone can make it work.

You didn't mention any other damage or theft. How did they get into the Hummer?

 

I cant imagine they were just going for the camera, I bet they were after more but ran out of time...
