wow, sorry to hear that...thats one of the most cowardly acts someone can pull. take comfort in the fact that what goes around comes around, so when that low life finally saves up enough money to buy his own car somebody will hopefully return the favor.
Its amazing how many people are jealous of the hummer though, i traded in a grand cherokee limited for my h3, my cherokee was of equal value, got less mpgs, and had way more luxaries but nobody was jealous of it...now everyone has something to say about my h3.
I would have the scratch professionally fixed at a body shop, even good touch up jobs look like crap. good luck

as you said, a cherokee srt10 is even more expensive..but still goes unnoticed. i guess thats the magic of hummer. ive had a guy in a f430 eye me out at the lights before.

first thing im going to do is try and see if i have a 1% chance of polishing it out. if not. ill be going to the insurance company . and getting you guys a pic.

just wondering, if i get the whole door repainted, would that put "damaged" in my car's history? its goddamn immaculate, some ****head ruined it for me

I've been really worried about that happening to me. Every time I visit my girlfriend I'm afraid some hippie art student at her university is going to key my H3.

You may be able to use some of that scratch-b-gone or whatever that stuff is we see sold on tv all the time. I've got some NuFinish Scratch Doctor for those things, and tree branches during wheeling. Haven't had to use it yet, but it says it can fix clear coat scratches. Make sure yours is only a clear coat scratch before going to a shop and spending a lot of money.

 

I feel bad for you.Only a brain dead,coward,jealous person would do such a thing.I had about a 3"long scratch on my h3 pass.side door at one time.'Coz,by accident.I live in CANADA SASKCATCHEWAN.There's a shop here called the DENT DOCTOR,I took my h3 there.Got it fix,they did not paint the whole door,did an awesome job.It was like nothing happened....

 

The dirtbags do this to all vehicles so it may not have been specifically due to it being a Hummer although who knows. I believe that is covered by comp insurance, so your rates should remain untouched if you have it repaired. Still sucks.

 

OK, now really, What's the girls name and who'd you do to get her ticked off at you??? Want to make sure I don't start datin her. Before my Hummer I had a jeeps. Had a girlfriend write a whole frickin paragraph on my Rubicon drivers door about what a cheatin, back stabbin, piece of crap I wuz with an ice pick. Some of it was so deep it dented the metal. Had to have body shop fix it. Paid for it outta pocket to keep insurance rates down. The girl had the nerve to try to get back with me about 6 months later. Nope, told her where to stick that ice-pick and her worn out _ _ _ _ _....
