The wife (Bobbie) and I just did some yardwork in the morning. Then made pasta and watched a movie. A local town has fireworks and we could see them from the back yard. That did not last long because our dog (Rusty) is scared to death of them, so we had to tend to her. All in all, a nice day.

Had a very large BBQ and when it was dusk had a rather large neighborhood fireworks display...Good old fashion fun!

Some friends came over, we had supper, watched "shooter" on dvd, and then watched the kiddos pop fireworks.

We watched the fireworks in Ft. Plain from the top of the mountain. It was better than going down into the village and getting caught in traffic. Opened up Humzillas sunroof, and sat on the roof. Was really pretty.

BBQ some chicken the way my uncle used to do it....

Had a tornado watch/warning for most of MD, PA, NJ, DE and so the fireworks are rescheduled for this Saturday. Hell... they evacuated the National Mall because they saw a tornado near DC.

SO.... I plan to have a 07/07/07 party.... just seems like I should drive the 5 miles to AC and gamble....

Spent all day on the lake getting extremely baked, not in a good way!! I'm still suffering the consequences and living on loritabs. I'm no longer lily white - I'm a nice reddish, purple shade. [&:]

Wow! I hope you get better soon. Speaking from my life-guard days (yes, believe it or not) I know how it feels.
