What is the deal with slant backs? Is that just a shell that you put on a normal h1 hard top?

 

supposedly only 39 were made for the 2000 model year. they are highly desired for their looks and how rare they are. there are aftermarket conversions for the 4 dr hardtop and for the hmco (4 door open top)

They are rare, expensive and highly desirable if they are factory original slantbacks. There are quite a few conversions and CalGold tops out there. While nice they are nearly as valuable as an original.

I checked out the link to that "Slant-Front" H1.

I can see why this guy's selling it. They've turned an otherwise masculine vehicle into more of a inner-city sissy-mobile. Sacrilege.

The Hummer H1 was born to get dirty.

Of course that's only one man's opinion. Other than the curvy lines, that is
one clean H1.

That truck has been for sale for years. No one will buy it. They should spend the money to change it back if they want to sell it.
