Default Side marker light change

Hi,

Does someone know how to change the light bulbs of the side marker lights?
Can i just pull the orange reflector thing?
I don't see any screws and under the hood i don't see any wires.
I don't want to break the reflectors by pulling to hard.

Thanks,
K.

As far as I know the easiest way to do it is to take out the inner fender, there are little black plugs that hold it in place, just be careful when you are doing it as to not break any of them, I've read on here people saying you could take off the front grille and get to them that way but that's more work imo.

yea you dont want to pull on it from the outside. I believe there are just clips holding it to the fender but theyre tight (could be wrong about clips, but either way dont do that). Like AT said just take out the inner fender liner. Its not that hard you just have to remove the panel clips by pulling the centers out then prying the rest of the clip out. Once you get the liner dropped you can just reach up and unplug the light to change it.

I've gotten good at getting them off from the outside but I have a set of plastic trim pry tools for car interior and audio installs. I would recommend going through the wheel well like everyone else said and just dropping the liner.

You can get them w/ a flat head screw driver, but be careful not too much force and watch the paint... Or go get a plastic coated pry tool... It's alot easier than inside the fender... I've done both and have marker light guards now that won't let me go from the outside and regret it every time!

As much as a pain in the azz that it is, I replaced mine with LED's so I won't have to enjoy removing them again!

Yeah the set I have I got from a car audio dealer mag. It's a little more well rounded, has about 12 pieces in it ranging from little mini stiff plastic crowbar type tools to point ended plastic picks.

I'll try to grab a picture of it when I get around to it, I just can't remember what brand it is.

It comes in handy for the kind of cars where the whole dash has to come off to do proper installs.
