Default Should I buy it??

OK heres the deal. I just test drove an 07 h2 with 47000 on it. It has 20 inch wheels and 33inch mickey thompsons mtzs. First thing i did was check the mpg on the odometer. 6.4!! Damn i knew they suck on gas but that was rediculous. So i go drive it and i noticed when i come to a stop and when i turn it grinds pretty good in the front. Does that sound like wheel bearings or something else? I love the way it looks on the outside. It doesnt really have much options, but thats not that big of a deal. I am wondering what kind of warranty i am able to get on one with almost 50k on it. I am new to the hummer scene, but have been doing some research for quite a while. Any advise or help would be appreciated.

It might just be the tires rubbing when you turn. I would have an inspection done by your favorite Mechanic. An 07 with 47k should be a nice rig unless it was beat to death.

it does it even when you r going straight. so bad that the dash shakes. it starts it immediately when you start turning. it definately sounds the worst when you come to a stop.

I would keep looking for another H2. Something does not sound right. The mpg gauge just needs to be reset while your driving. I get 12.3 mpg all day long. The H2's are all about driving style. You will suck gas if you drive it like a sports car. Best of luck you will love it!

Don't get it. Look for another. If i felt something like that when driving i would never buy it. You don't know if that problem will cause some other problem with some other component. If i were you just get a stock one with nothing done to it. and them when u buy it u start doing stuff to it.

The MPG could suck because of 2 things: 1. Stock the H2 came with 35s (315/70R17s) not 33s thus throwing off the odometer to the high side and the MPG calculator. 2. People test driving it with the hammer down and the dealer letting it sit idling waiting for it to warm up fo the test drive.

Warranty is 50K Bumper to Bumper, 100K on the drivetrain.
