SHOCKS!!!! Who has some imput???
 

I have been look'n @ the Rancho RS series... Anybody have any feedback on these or is there another manufacturer that may perform better for a close cost???

A lot of guys are running the Bilstein Cognito's. I myself just bought the Rancho RS9000XL set. They haven't came in yet but I will let you know how they perform after Labor day weekend. A group of Hummers are going to Rausch Creek in PA. That's where I will be breaking them in. From what I have read, they should be a very durable and long lasting shock. They are a bit pricey though but I hope they are well worth it.

I am hoping to find a set of shocks that will be more on the performance side... A bit more stiff yet having enough damping to keep a smoother ride on hwy, bumpy city roads, etc.... I've heard that Rancho has went a bit down hill in past years which is why I was look'n to see what yalls views were. How do your 9000's handle on corners & exits?

I don't have them installed yet but they have a dial on them so you can adjust how soft or firm you want them. That's why I bought them. As far as going downhill, the shocks are not made by them. They are bought by them and they slap their stickers on them. I guess I will find out!
