Hey guys been doing alot of reading on shocks as im going to replace mine.
Now i have a few options and i want all your inputs on what you have and how they are.
Now here are my options for where im in canada and i can order online. These are canadian dollar pricing

I may raise front with torsion keys a bit. Whats reccomended?

Blistein 5100 for front and rear $450
procomp es9000 $250
rancho Rs5000 $250 Will these work on stock ride height? Or if i just turn my torsion keys up a bit?
sky jacket 4 nitro $270
Monroe Reflex Monotube $365

those are prices for all 4. Now i dont do no offroading really and its all highway driving.

Also do i need the extended bump stops?

 

I used OEM ACDelco shocks, got 120000 miles on the original set, they work well

 

For my H3 I went with Gabriel Ultra HD shocks G63965 & G64001 They're pretty much Rancho without the sticker's. Lol!

You get em on sale with Auto Anything and life time warranty for about $100 bucks or less.
I got mine on a stupid low sale price plus rebate. By the way that's for four of em...

 

No OffRoad, then buy the OEM for your H3 specific suspension. It will ride like it came from the showroom. If not, then Monroe or KYB for a comfortable ride.

Shocks are personal taste. The others you have listed above are POOPY.

 

I'm raised in the front and I ended of going with the monroe reflexes... approx $200 for all four from Oriellys.

I did try the Bilsteins 5100's up front and ended up taking them off within a month.. to much travel and was putting the front drive line in a bind over humps and taking off from a start when the front end raises.

Monroe's I can take off as quick as I want - no issues

 

The miss' 06 H3 has Skyjacker on it and there not bad.

So much to pick lol.

Will i notice a big difference if i went with gabriel over kyb or monroe?

Just looking for a smooth hwy ride. no crazy road bounce or dives when breaking.

I have an 06 H3 adventure with 95K. Nearly two years ago I installed Monroe Reflex Monotube shocks all around. To be honest, I can't tell a difference between these and OEM.

 

Never buy from a dealership!
Check with the 50 or so online GM parts sources. 30 to 45% of dealership pricing.
