Just checked tire pressure and the tires range from 31-34 psi thinking about bumping that up another 5 psi...bring them up to 38-40..the tires are 285/75/16

Maybe that's all it is then, let us know if the proper tire inflation cured your alarm..

I have the same tires as you, and I always maintain 40 PSI cold in all four, the tires can Handle 50 PSI MAX..(best to keep then all equal too.)

the serv. tpm is the message you get for low air inflation, no major deal and nothing to worry about...nuttin is broke. You will get the message at each ignition cycle, just hit the trip odometer button once and the message will go off and not reappear until the next ignition cycle. The entire TPS system that GM developed is a waste of time and money, I haven't even had the sensors for three months now and only got the message one time.

Yeah Mike, that's because you carry around your stock tires piled in the back..
