Default Save some $$$$ on a future issue...

Ok,
Been giving it some thought on wtf happened to my fuel pump ( see this post
https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...el-pump-34659/ )
If you live in a state that gets snow AND uses salt on the roads, you might wanna check this out...
The ONLY way that could of happened is because of the short inner fender well's.
If you look in on the drivers side rear you can see the top rear of the tank and your fuel pump, great for checking out the pump, sucks for letting salt spray from the road in.
With the new pump it's NEVER gonna rust because of what I sprayed on it, but nun-the-less I'm going to extend the well down with some light rubber cut to fit and removable, I'll probably do all four wheel well's..

Just my thoughts, and something I feel is worth looking into, who knows it might save you some $$$ down the road..

Yup , that's a nasty spot. All always see the salt and sand piled right on top the pump.

I make sure to spray it all off every time I wash it.

I'm thinking I'm the spring mAybe I'll plastidip the hell out of it.
