Hi Folks

i have just bought a second hand ARB roof rack and i will have to fabricate a new bracket can someone please post some pics of the factory mounting system so that i can copy it or even a close up pic of the gobi rack fixing. I dont have too many options out here in saudi to pick up a rack and fixing kit so i will have to DIY. thanks in advance.

 

Do you mean the channel tracks in the roof? If so, they're the same as used on newer LR Discovery and Thule makes a compatible adaptor foot for the system. I think Thule is easily available worldwide, then you would just need to come up with a way to bolt the ARB rack down on Thule's square rail system.

 

thanks njtex i am getting a guy to fab some brackets i pick them up tonight i will see if they will work then maybe look at the thule system.
