Robby Gordan's Hummer H3 Dakar

I am wondering if the two H3's currently competing in this years Dakar have any original design/Parts from the production H3 that we all drive?

I see it has a 7 Liter Engine and is only two wheel drive and looks very different than a standard H3? The only thing that makes it look like a Hummer is the Front Grill?
