Replaced Shocks
Back in Nov. 2016 I needed to replace the shocks on my '06 Hummer H2. I came here looking for advice and after reading a few different posts I decided on Bilstein front and rears along with the steering dampener. After having them for a few months I can say that I am very happy with the purchase as well as the place I purchased them from Shox.com. Knowledgeable and friendly service as well as very timely shipping. There were some who made comments about the steering pulling slightly after the install of the dampener...I have NOT had any issues with this. Again, very pleased all around and would definitely recommend going this route to those looking for replacements or just an upgrade.

What were the model numbers, price, and were they all matching stainless?

They were the 5100 series. Fronts, rears and a steering dampener for $460.00. I believe stainless with black boot kits.

What rear did you go with and is your H2 stock height? everything Bilstein lists for the rear either A. is for a lifted truck or B. is NOT for air suspension equipped trucks. It's a real pain in the ass to find rear shocks because of this. |
