I didn't see this....until your bump. In the dash fusebox there is a fuse... I believe it is 10a, and it is labeled ECC.

Check to see if it is blown.

if yours doesn't have ECC see if you have one labeled locks.

Let me know.... I can go out to mine in the morning when the sun comes up...

Hi mate i had checked the fuse labled ecc and it seems fine.It is in the dash in the left bottom corner. All the other locks work fine except the tailgate.I dont drive the car that much one day it was fine the next i had the message.

do you have another one that says LOCKS. it's for the rear doors and liftgate according to the schematics.

Thanks for the replies my friend, no there is def not one saying locks on it.The back doors do lock with the front ones anyway.

Muddydawg75 07-19-2011 06:12 AM

ok.... I'm going to try to dig into the schematics more....

Okay checked all fuses in both fuse boxes at the weekend they are all fine.I stripped of all the tailgate interior trim as well and discovered if i manually lock the boot lock then it will open with the central locking.
Really starting to bug me now.
