RE: remote starter problems

Your pass lock wires are usually located in the steering column wiring going towards ignition. 3 thin wires, yellow, black &black w/yellow stripe.

Door locks may require up to 4 relays.

There is a module that connects directly to the data bus so you dont have it rigged w/ a key stuck under the dash... Door locks shouldn't require any relays, just tap the unlock from one of the rear doors. If i remember correctly there was an issue w/ tapping the drivers door think it only unlocked itself, not all doors.

I used to install these for circuit city back in high school. I would honestly recommend not to use the Remote Start feature. They almost cause problems several years down the road. Then it gets expensive to make repairs etc.... I was a MECPInstaller and that is my professional opinion.

I agree that the remote feature will cause problems in the long run
