Default remote start anyone?

I have a 2007 H3 Adventure. I have read all the threads on this site regarding remote start. I have yet to find one refering to an install on a 2007 model. Has anyone installed, if so what's a good brand and were there difficulties. I tried last summer to haveone installed and the installer burned up my ECM. Thanks.

I've never had a problem installing on 06 or 07's. Just gotta get the right transponder. I like autopage personally but there are a lot of good ones on the market.

Hmmm, I have it on my 06,..but I had it done. The dealer sent it down the street to a small shop that does them regularly.

That's why I got the automatic trans,...so I could have remote start.

I believeif you purchase a good alarm system, you might as well add the remote starter, it's a good add-on. I have the Clifford Matrix 50.5x with a few additional modules. I'm very happy with it.

I had the dealership install one for me. It is an Audiovox and does what I need it to do. I get good range, and have a warm seat to sit on when I get in (I leave my heated seat switch in the on position when I turn off the vehicle so it kicks on with the remote start). I wanted to follow HummBob's lead and get the same type, but it just didn't work out.

Had it in the 06 and we have it in the 08, both factory installed. They work great and I am going to put one on my Tact, just have to decide which is higher priority: Tires, Cat-back, starter, shocks. Leaning towards tires first then starter, shocks, cat-back. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

Anyway, I love the remote starter. Especially when it is 16 degrees outside!
