recovery loops

This sounds like a stupid question but I don't understand the recovery loops. How do you get them to turn out straight for towing? Are they just real tight so they don't rattle or is there a trick to get them to turn into position?

Shackle a strap to the tow loop, attach other end to towing vehicle, begin towing, 5000#s of 3 will straighten them out where ever they need to be. ;)

They just need to be snug so they do not rattle, you should be able to move them with a firm effort.

I thought that might be the case. I just didn't want to break something. Thanks for the quick response. They sure are tight. I can't move them by hand. I guess I need to eat my Wheaties!
