Did your rear window suddenly fall into your door? Here's a vid showing tempory fix to keep the rain out and permanent replacement of the regulator.

 

Same door / same window just dropped on me. Same fix. It was quite easy although I put the plastic locking piece back backwards. I was wondering why it signaled open when closed I cut a piece of pvc and jammed it into the inner door space to hold up the window while the part was being ordered.
