I bought a hidden hitch for my 3 off eBay. Wasn’t much. L

I checked ebay theres plenty of aftermarket hitches that are very low priced.
but their quality is poor. I bought one for a jeep xj I had and it rusted really bad
in less than a year. Thank you very much though I'm trying to find one from
an H3 used. they are properly factory treated.

Do you have the rear bumper for a factory hitch on your H3? GM used 2 different rear bumpers, one has the hitch cut-out (with the trailer pkg) the other does not. The aftermarket hitches are lower than the stock hitch so they go under the rear bumper, not through the cut-out.

They make this stuff.... called paint, and it can be used to protect metal from the elements. ;)

Noted. A brand new hitch to me doesn't need to be painted.
I will only paint a used hitch when I find one. It has crossed my mind
to take off my whole bumper and weld together my own.
Thank you sir for your input. All the best to you.
