Rear end locker problem
My 2003 H2 has about 165,000 miles on it. The check 4x4 light came on. When we ran the scan, we found out that the electrical control to the rear end locker was disfunctioning.
I was quoted about $1,400.00 for the repair to replace the sylinoid ect. Have any of you had this problem, and what would be the fix. |
I'd have a real issue paying $1400 to replace when the unit is barely half that.
and who's we? What method did you use to determine a locker was faulty? |
"We" as in the local Chevrolet dealership ran the scan. I appoligize for not being a rocket scientist mechanic. So I am at their mercy, that is why I am reaching out to you and others for suggestions as to how to tell what the real problem is, and what would be the least expensive fix.
