Rear air susp to coil conversion help need to order parts
 

Hi all,

My air suspension has finally gave out and has been intermittant for a couple years (would find truck lowered in morning) or hard to get to pump up.I had it into the dealer and they could not find any leaks.I looked on amazon and $169.00 gets me the spring conversion kit.My concerns is i use the truck for trailering alot,16 foot enclosed trailer and 16 foot car hauler.Will i have issues with spring rates or will this work?.I dont want to mess with the air anymore i dont think.But i need to make sure it will all work with my trailers and weight and that it will keep a good stance.My truck is an 05 h2 sut.Please let me know as i would likte to get these parts ordered today.

my air system pump is staying on and I am thinking of converting mine also. Have you done this? I asking to see how you like it.

I just purchased an 07 SUT it has the conversion springs rides a lot stiffer than my 06 with air bags. I have the same concern with trailering have not tried it yet. I pull a 6500# boat as fast as I can. LOL

air suspension is way better to haul trailer, as it will adjust itself whit the weight to keep the same hight, coils can do the djob too but it depend on what kind of weight you will put on the pole ?

Check with Arnott suspension, they should have the parts to repair or replace either the air ride or to do a conversion.
