Question Rattle when taking off

I have an 06 H3. Just recently I've had a rattle when initially accelerating. It only happens at low RPMs. I thought it could be the skid plates and took them off but the rattle is still there. It sounds tinny on the drivers side. Any ideas would be helpful.

There's a thin heat shield over the exhaust manifold. They are notorious noise makers. Check if it's loose and hitting something.

Thanks guys. The rattle is still there. Checked out the heat shield and it is still tight. Spent about and hour under the hood checking and feeling for any loose parts, nothing. I narrowed it down to around 1200-1500 rpm and the rattle comes and goes. Will be keeping my ear open a while longer...

Had this myself and took a couple weeks snooping around to figure out it wasn't heat shield or any of the other searchable results on this forum or google. Turned out to be the clamp holding the catalytic converter to rear exhaust. Or more specifically that clamp not being tight enough so that the 2 "tubes" gapped and rattled a bit 1/16th to 1/18 an inch. Shop had to heat torch the nut off and when replaced swung the clamp downward because that bolt and nut were on the TOP side next to the xfer case (and it's heat shield) and not easy to get into.

I get the same noise and cannot track it down. It is very irritating to say the least.

Default low noise at 1900rpm

I too have a noise (not so much vibration) at 1900 rpm. It sounds like it's from the front-middle portion under the vehicle. I have no clue what is causing this. It's not very loud, but annoying.
I just cleaned my throttle body and maf, hope I didnt create a leak somewhere.

I have a 2006 with 63k, really fearing the cracked head issue. Hope I never get it.
