Radio adapter question

Hey everyone. Got a weird question for anyone that might have an answer.

I just traded in both of my Ford's for our used 2007 Hummer H3. I love the truck! I have a Ford Trip Tunes module that used the antenna port behind the Ford radio. So, I tore open the dash the other day and noticed that GM uses a different antenna size plug. Does anyone know if there is an adapter to go from the GM antenna mast to a Ford female plug, then from the Ford Male to GM female in the back of the radio?

Thanks in advance.

Robert

Yes, the adapters you speak of exist. I'd bet that you likely would only be able to find them at a local car audio shop. That, or order it online from a similar source.

Yeah, I was hoping someone could tell me what their specification was. I have found numerous adapters online, but none that say GM radio to Ford Antenna and Ford radio to GM Antenna.

Will keep looking online and will try the local shops. Have not seen anything at Walmart.

Should only need a GM-10 and GM-20 Antenna adapter from Metra Electronics. What year ford did you have the modulator in?
