Hi all:

Just bought a 2006 H3, but noticed some steering problems. My local mechanic told me that the Rack and Pinion bushings need to be replaced, but he could not find them anywhere. Local CV part store told him that the entire rack and pinion had to be replaced because of this.

If this true or someone knows wher I can buy the rack and pinion bushings only.

This is one of my favorite subjects, as most people know. Did you just ask this somewhere else or did I dream that? I will be brief. I could only think it would be the dreaded passenger side bushing which is available from GM, or was. The ones on the drivers side are pressed in and I don't think they get messed up very easy.
