Default Question on Ebay.

Im selling a certain item, and they sent me a question, "Hey Can I Have youre email so we can continue this transaction outside Of eBay?"

Is this common, or am I getting myself into trouble agreeing 2 this.

Is it also common for people to charge back onpaypal?
On other forums when people sell stuff backa nd fourth, theypay $xx.xx than have to wait for the money to transfer to the bank account. Than get the item they paid for.

DON'T DO IT!!!! Way too many SCAMMERS on eBay.

As far as PayPal, as long as you get a TRACKING NUMBER when you ship stuff, you should be fine. Usually PayPal just asks for the tracking # in case of a proposed "charge back" and if you have a #, usually YOU WIN!!

Well, Okay

I play WoW, or use 2, and im selling my character.
So pretty much, I get the money on my paypal, and give them the info to the account.

http://cgi.ebay.com/70-Mage-63-Warri...QQcmdZViewItem

Thats what im selling.

On this other game people would send the money, you give them info, than they chargeback, and the person has no account or money.

Yeah, the winning bidde would pay PayPal(if you don't have an account), then payPal will e-mail you. Then set up a PayPal account to get the funds, then WITHDRAW it to a credit card or bank account!!!

So when I sell it for say $300

Put the $300 from my paypal(300 that i recieved from the highest bidder), and put it in my bank account

Once it succesfully has made it to my bank account, than give them the account?

Unfortunatley as the SELLER, you will have to pay a premium on using PayPal. Usually around 2.5%. So based on these figures, you'd get ROUGHLY $291 - $293 form a $300 payment.

Theoretically, once it's in your PayPal account, you can release the account to the BUYER as it takes a few days to transfer to your personal bank account, but you can do whatever makes you more comfortable!!
