question about tire size
parent's just got me a 2009 h3. picking it up tomorrow.
How big of tires can i fit w/out a lift? also, im looking to get some decent off road tires? what brand and model do you all think is best? would appreciate any help. Thanks |
315/75/r16 are the biggest you can go without a lift. those are 35in tall 12.5in wide. use the search engine on this site because this question has been answered hundreds of times already and people get mad because it comes up a lot. i run the goodyear duratracs. they are the most aggressive all terrain on the market right now and you can pick them up for a decent price. my 315/75/16s were $1200 total for 5 including mount and balance.

Yes it has been asked and answered a hundred times and 35's seem to be the answer.
My thing, being a new H3 owner and new to this site, is what these tires look like on an H3. As a matter of fact I'd like to see as many different combos as you all will post pics of. 33's on stock, 33's on a leveled H3, 33's on a lifted H3, 35's on all the mentioned before and any and all combos you guys and gals have on your H3's. I've gone through the galleries and past posts and it's very time consuming. Also not everyone quotes what combo their running. I'm also concerned with my performance. Are 35's going to kill the little bit of power and gas mileage I have with the 3.7 liter engine. So post em up...lets see what ya got! Thanks, Mike |
