Question about K&N Intake......lost nut

Default Question about K&N Intake......lost nut

Hey guys, i installed a K&N intake but the stem that connects the intake tube to the engine fell off. is this ok to drive with? I am going to go to home depot and try to find another nut that fits with a lock. thanks guys!

if it's not going to hit the fan it should be ok I guess.... that looks like a M8-1.50 thread to me... but I don't own a H3.

thanks. no, the arm hanging from the tube isnt swinging or anything, its on the tube pretty tight so im not worried about it hitting the fan. im worried about the extra shaking on the intake.

yeah... that's what I am talking about also... the extra shaking hitting the fan.... but I might be thinking Alpha and that's not going to be an issue...

I get confused sometimes... I put a few H3 Airdocs on and I forget when the throttlebody is... on I5 vs V8

If Duct Tape won't fix it you're gonna need a HAMMER!

if you can't fix it with a hammer, then you have an electrical problem....


Seriously... if the trip isn't very far I think you will be fine... if it's that worrysome... I think you could put the filter directly in place of the pipe and drive there...
