Programmer for use in multiple cars

I'm thinking of buying a programmer, but I would like to know if there is a good one that works in multiple cars. I have 3 H2's and I don't want to have to buy 1 for each... Does anyone know a good one that is capable of multiple uses?

The Superchips Cortex has the ability to tune multiple GM gas and diesel vehicles. $99 per extra vin# and you can remove the tunes from the vehicles and set them back to stock at any time in about 3 minutes. I have one and I am very pleased with the unit and it's tune-ablility.

Hope this helps.:D

Thats a good option, thanks I'll keep it in mind. But if anyone knows one that doesn't require any extra $ per tune, let me know...

They all require $$$ to unlock a vehicle. I have the HP Tuners cable as I have my H2, a vette, and an Escalade. The HP cable comes with 8 credits, and requires 2 to unlock a vehicle.

From what I've read, the only solution to use the same programmer with multiple vehicles, without paying more $, would be to use it in one the first vehicle, then since it only functions when it detects the same VIN number, it would be possible to flash the ECU of vehicle 2 with the vin number of vehicle 1. That way the vin would be the same, so the tuner would work. Tuning changes would be made, and then vehicle 2 ECU would be flashed again to put in the real vin number back again.
This way, it could be used in multiple vehicles with no problem.
Anyone knows a cheap program that I can buy, that allows the change of the vin #?
