Default premium sound speakers vs. non-premium?

Anyone know if the speakers of the premium sound are the same as the standard package speakers or are they an upgraded version? I know that the premium has an amp and sub but I'm just talking about the speakers. I've decided to add an aftermaket nav. (Pioneer D3) and was wondering about the quality of the sound I'll be getting from this head unit.

Yes the Monsoon system does sound great. I personaly went with the standard sound because I wanted a navigation system and would have eventually needed to replace the head unit. The reason I'm asking about the speakers is to know if I should consider upgrading them as well or should I asume that once I replace the head unit I'll get better sound quality.

With justaheadunit replacement, you'll really not notice any difference in sound quality because it's 95% speaker dependant.

If you want to emulate or better the Monsoon system sound from a base system, replace the stock speakers and add an amplifier and subwoofer. Stay away from Best Buy and go to a good auto sound specialist dealer/installer in your area. They'll also give you good advise and recomendationstoo!

From other previous andcurrent GM's that I own, stock speakers are 4 ohm and Monsoon/Bose speakers are all 2 ohm. Yes, they are different speakers.
