I have a 2007 H3 in birch white. I just ordered the roof marker light kit, and will be installing it when it arrives. I really like the look of the front marker lights on the other H3's I have seen on this site, but have been debating whether to install them "as is" or, to possibly paint the plastic mount the same as my body color to keep the roofline "cleaner". If anyone with marker lights already installed on a white H3 has a good resolution pics from different angles, I could photoshop the plastic white and make up my mind. I realize that I could monkey with changing the body color on a non white H3 photo, but trying to make less work. If by luck, someone else has already done something like this, pics would really be appreciated.

Personally I think the black looks really good against the birch white body color ... I'm going that route myself on my white -03 H2 .... I'd keep it black if I was you :-)

I agree, the black does look good, but some other pics I have seen in other colors with the FML plastic painted to match looked very nice to me, so I am just exploring the same. It's hard to visualize such a drastic change so a little digital manipulation might help me.

I vote to keep it black. Otherwise, you would have to paint the whole roof rail.

A white rig with black acc looks tough IMO.

 

I agree w/ blackstangs, I was facing the same dilema. If you paint it white then you'd have to paint not only the rails but trim as well. Whatever you decide post your experience installing it, I'm still waiting for my dealer to bring it in[:'(]

They keep saying that the lights are 'still' in the design phase. Man, they need to get with the times!!!
