Request to all Philadelphia, PA and surrounding PA areas...

I have been a collector of Atwater Kent Radios from the 20's for about 30 years, they were made at the largest manufacturing plant in the US inPhiladelphia, so the greatest concentration of them, is in the Philly area..I restore them to mint condition ...they look like new and the work like new, while keeping all things original, just restored...

So Please, check your attics, your grandparent's attics, your neighbor's attics, for anything that has Atwater Kent Radio on it...If it's gathering dust or mice poop..I will gladly give it a new and good home..MINE!

Here are a few pictures of what I have done to a couple of my sets..I have 15 different models at the moment, ranging from 1924 to 1931

Vintage 1924 horn speaker and a 1931 Cathedral style radio

Some are in this display case..

Man, I was going to make some comment about this like "I bet you worked in the factory that made those" or "Is THIS what people do when they get old " but I'm actually really impressed. That's pretty damn cool to have a piece of history like that. So, I'll refrain from saying "And I thought my Video Game habbit was bad" and just say, I'm very impressed

Wait a minute; I thought you lived in Minnisota or Montana....................
