Hi Guys if anyone has run into this issue do you have any answers?...I just noticed on my 2006 H3 that my drivers door is making a creaking grinding noise and I believe it's the [The flat metal shaft that couples the door to the frame] Do you think something got loose? Not sure if anyone else ran into this issue. thanks,paul

 

Get yourself a good silicone and some lithium, same as recommended for garage doors...Spray away on all moving parts, and work the door open/close until, the noise goes away. Don't use a penetrant!

 

On my 06 H3 the top hinge was in need of lube. Had to really press garage door lube into the hinge to get the creaking to cease.

 

GM Super Lube simply can't be beat! Recommended in service manual.
