Just started a few days ago when i close the passenger door just before it shuts it has a creaking sound. I have an 07 it is not supposed to sound like a 97. I got a new car to get away from all the squeaks,rattles and CREAKS! Anyone have or had this issue ? And what is that grey clip near the hinge/wire boot do?

actually wd40 is bad for hinges it is a corrosive and will cause your hinge to get worse best thing is some kind of graphite lube or i use this stuff called lock ease it has graphite in it but is mixed with some kind of oil so it flows better.

 

for my H3 this happened and it turned out one of the door hinges was loose, a bolt actually had fallen out

 

Probably the door check strap. It holds the door open when it's well, open. Just had mine repaired on the driver's door, no biggie.

dude im not a computer geek everybody isnt into computers like u i have a 06 hummer silver crome everything 17,000 miles sticker price was 42,000 got 8,000 off family discount and now im doomed i wanted to keep this truck foreva since i got it so cheap but no way i can do that with that noise i also got tvs in my headrest for like 299 bucks when i purchased it

 

Aw come on...Tell me somthing then...Does your glove box light come all the time or just when the door is open?..Seriously, I can't tell if my light ever goes off...I can open the glove box after it's been sitting in the snow and the light still feels warm..does yours do that?...Seriously
