Painting Stock Sidesteps

Does anyone know what I need to use to paint the Stock H2 Sidesteps black?

if they're the chrome ones may i suggest offering up a trade for someone with black ones, or buy a set of black ones and ebay your chrome ones... Chromes a bitch to paint.. even using the duplicolor black chrome kit, it will eventually chip..

I've also heard that truck bed liners will work too, but I wasn't sure.
