For something that will go offroad, I think those products are a waste of money, but if it is a street queen, then probably worth every dime.
Nothings going to protect against brush scratches, but the teflon stuff might just help in shedding mud. I haven't taken the Audi offroad to see if the coating will shed heavy stuff. After reading the post I finally called the detail shop...$185 for an H3. Gonna think about it. Offroad or not, its still spends 8 hours a day baking in the SoCA sun getting slimed by pollution.

It worked great for shedding mud and slime, but the brush scratches killed it. Had I thought about that when I bought it, I would have ordered one so I could save the $1200 they charged me for it. I guess you live and learn.

a good pressure washer does pretty good work if you have a good wax job on it. I'm sure it would do fine without the wax, but hopefully I'll never have to find out.

Depends on the soil. The clay mud here in So CA can be like concrete once its dries on. The red stuff I get in AZ is soft and almost falls off when dry. I think its best to hose it off ASAP, especially the undercarriage. A mud pack may be a badge of honor for some 4x4ers but the bottom line is that its a just a crude abrasive and does the rig no good.

Yeah.. Sunrise did the deed.. Was over the otherside of Marion at the Olive Security Training center.. They sent out invites to customers about 2 weeks before.. Of course it looked kinda like typical junk mail...

I'm guessing by the ID you ARE in Memphis too..??
