P0305.... again

Drove the H3 yesterday, came home for a few hours, started, went back in house while she idled for about 3 min and CEL was on. Checked and P0305 again? 53k miles, vin is above the ones stated with issues, changed plugs last month for fun, AC Delcos, gapped at .043, old plugs where good and gapped at .040, run Chevron 87 only, when I did plug change I cleaned TB and MAF again, both were not dirty. When I first had this issue months back, I swapped coil packs 2 & 5 then got P0302, so put new coil on 2. Could it be another bad coil? Is there another part to check with this issue? The 3 runs great, still a little vibration while stopped in D. When I pull in garage and put in P, she is smooth. I let idle today for 10 min and all good. Now that I have asked, CEL probably won’t come back on for months!

Could be the coil pack.

I was re-reading your post in FAQ and saw camshaft actuator solenoid, I have not checked that

I've got one sitting in my garage you can have. Just pay s&h... Lol! Changed it out on Miss' H3 and it did not solve her problem.

Appreciate that! Lol.. I will pull it out around beer:30 to inspect.

The camshaft actuator solenoid looks band new, looks good! Wiped off, put back in, bolted down and noticed I could turn the shaft, aluminum, the part that gets plugged back in? Didn’t notice that when trying to take out.
