Onstar antenna?
 

On my 07 H2, the onstar "shark fin" part of the antenna is missing. It seems to be about a 1/2" dia socket and the fin plugs in and locked with a 90 deg turn. I went to a local salvage yard and looked at about 20 wrecked late model GM trucks, envoys, etc. None of them seem to have the same design as the H2. Does anyone have any experience with the shark fin and what else fits it. thanks.

If your still under warranty just take it to the dealer...other than that I cant I help

I learned thru salvage yard inspections, the onstar antenna consists of 2 parts the base and the "shark fin". The shark fin is the part that was missing on mine. To replace it..in the very front of the fin is a small lock tab that drops into a slot. Once depressed, the fin can be rotated CCW and threads out. There is single contact under the fin to the base.

tree branch took mine,,,well half of it anyway....warranty took care of it....Hummer was cool about it and handled it at my service date...
