Is it okay to run 2 studded tires?
Is it alright to put studded tires only on the back 2 wheels of an H3? I realize it is an all wheel drive vehicle.
Would doing this hurt anything? |

Would doing this hurt anything? Last I knew in Ma.it was illegal the state or county didn't allow it. should check with the DMV be on the safe side. |
I wasn't aware of the legal restrictions. I will look into it.
Will it cause any sort of mechanical problems? |
I don't know why it would cause any problems unless you are running a different size tires on the rear.

I haven't run studded tires for at least 30 years so take my advise with a grain of salt. Whatever you do, it's considred the safest to have your best traction tires on the rear of your vehicle.

Will it cause any sort of mechanical problems? don't believe it will cause an mechanical problems the reason I was told they were not allowed was because they tear into the asphalt roads. guess they must of really did a number on them. |
