Ok I'm going to need some help from yall. I see on youtube how to remove the radiator which shows the fan shroud having a way to rotate the lower portion then lifting up and out. Alpha fan shrouds must be different thou because I do not have the release leaver or slide handle on the left side as shown in the vid. The vid also shows dust covers and circle type spring clips for the trans line disconnects. Mine do not have the dust covers nor do i see a slot for the clip.

So how do you remove the fan shroud and the trans lines off?

There is a lower portion of the shroud that needs to be removed first.

There are 2 black plastic retainers for the c clips. pull the black plastic retainers toward the engine.
There will be 2 small E-clips ( 1 on each side) holding the lines in. I use a 90 degree pick tool to remove them.
DON'T let them fly off unless your replacement radiator has them installed already!!!

To remove the Alpha fan shroud locate the two tabs one each at the bottom (lower portion) of the shroud. Best to use a small 90 degree pry to push up and a screwdriver in the seam to pry apart then pull it down and slide it out.

You got it. Make sure to thoroughly flush the coolant system.
I would also recommend to at least drop the trans pan and refill with fresh I see there are 4 owners, how long have you owned it?

Thanks for the info.Tainter. it's a pretty quick process once you know what you are doing.

Anytime!

-Flush the trans several times until the color of the fluid looks like the brand new fluid you just put in. ;)
-Buy a few of the the gallon jugs from Amazon $17.50 each It's a little expensive but a lot less than a new trans!
-ALSO DROP THE PAN and change the filter too! ACDelco 24225323 Professional Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Kit -For the cooling system use Prestone AS110 Radiator Flush and Degreaser, 32 oz
Amazon

The flushed out fluid looked like normal change out. The pan had very little black film on the magnet and no metal glitter. So by all counts i'd say I caught it quick enough.
