My H3 don't have all those compartments and all those finger controls.. My wife's ride has them and she is content. ;)

It's probably worth flushing your engine really well, flushing your transmission really well, replace the radiator, and add an external trans cooler. All stuff you can do. I can elaborate if you'd like, but it's worth a shot. It's a ten year old vehicle, and things fail.

replacing the radiator here in a bit. everything will get a flush. the good thing is the trans didn't get water in it.

I'd recommend getting the radiator without the trans cooler. If you get the radiator from an H3 with manual trans, it will not have the internal trans cooler. Add an external cooler is easy. This won't happen again.

Ok I'm going to need some help from yall. I see on youtube how to remove the radiator which shows the fan shroud having a way to rotate the lower portion then lifting up and out. Alpha fan shrouds must be different thou because I do not have the release leaver or slide handle on the left side as shown in the vid. The vid also shows dust covers and circle type spring clips for the trans line disconnects. Mine do not have the dust covers nor do i see a slot for the clip.

So how do you remove the fan shroud and the trans lines off?

Fix it and run it. Looks like you may have gotten off easy if the trans wasn't compromised. Try and keep these old warriors alive!! I see less and less H3s everyday.
