Oil change percent??

On my 04, when I have the oil life % in the display, I hold the "return" or arrow button which looks like return in for a few seconds and it resets the Oil percentage

but I think in 05 or 06 it's different...

on my 07 you put the key in run position, without starting the truck, and press the gas pedal 3 times to the floor...it will reset the oil counter.

I change mine every 12000 miles regardless of what it says. I use Amsoil Series 2000 0w30 and the EAO Amsoil filters. You can leave it in for 35000 miles but I change it every 12k.
