Odometer

Ive asked about this before, and Im just bringing it back up as Im still facing the same thing.

My odometer is in miles, I just bought the vehicle. I live in Canada, and I notice when I start it up that you have an option for kilometers. However I can't switch it. I tried every option on DIC. All I can find is language and oil life reset. Its very frustrating trying to recalculate everything in my head.

Yes I looked in search, and it doesn't exist in the user manual.

There has to be a way to switch this.

Help....anyone?

Thank you,

Marko

I bet your dealer would be glad to help you. If it's faulty they can replace it.

I guess this would be assuming that the dealer knows how to work on these. Put it this way, I bought this H3 500 miles away for a reason. I have a feeling that I will walk in and they will say.....we dont know, we will call you back or some intellegent answer like that.

Wow, 500 miles!!! Do you have a GMC dealer closer? The Colorado pickup shares a lot stuff with the H3. Maybe they can help.
They could also process your warranty if you have any.

oh I have a dealer 2 miles away. However, I think there are 2 hummers in town (one of them mine) (about 15,000 people in town) and there are about 6 towns all spaced 60-100 miles apart for the next 1000 miles. Like I said the first major GM dealer is 500 miles away, and that is why I bought it there.

These guys are a full GM dealer, however, I have a feeling they are going to tell me Im gonna have to change the whole cluster. Lets just say they are not the easiest bunch to deal with. I would deal with them for warranty stuff, but this is just "nice to have" so they wont care about giving me info.

But I guess its worth a shot.

Thank you,

Marko
