Put a new set of 305/75 Goodyear Dura-Trac's on today. Looks a lot better then the 285 street tires that was on it. I wanted to go 315 but thought they might be to big and rub some but I am happy with the 305's and the wife loves them. Now I just need to level it.

 

Putting a set of Rancho 9000 shocks on it in the morring. Should ride better and not roll and nose dive so much. Just have to figure out what setting to set the shocks at. Anyone else run Rancho 9000's that would share the setting they run?

 

I would start at 5 (in the middle) and see what you think. Then go softer or stiffer depending on YOUR taste in ride. You will prob end up with a little stiffer in the front and a little softer in the rear. Like a 6 and 4.

 

Got the shocks on and have the fronts set to 8 and the rears at 6. I like the fronts on 8 but still playing with the rear setting but 6 is ok.

The Dura-traks look good. Are they particularly noisy on the highway?

 

They are not noisy at all. I really like the tires and I have been a BFG guy all my life.
