Default New Roof Lights...

Need you guy's advice-do I spend $300 at the dealer for them to put it on...where I would assume would do a great job, being the "dealer" and all? Or should I trust that a small up and coming shop can do just as good, for half the price?

A dealer is going to install it to factory specs, where a shop is probably going to install however works for them. I, personally, would spend the extra to have the dealer do it, so I didn't have to pay for repairs later when it leaks.

Troy... We talking the marker lights? Those guys are pretty pesky and have some really tricky screws... I too would have a dealer do it ecuase they'll stand behind their work... Unless you are that confident that this up and coming shop would too... It would have to be my brother in order for me to feel that comfortable...

the dealer might be the better way to go because they will have no choice but to back their work if something goes wrong
