Just picked up a 03 h2, wife wanted one to use as a trip vehicle so we can take the dogs with us. Was at work this morning (firefighter) at the airport. Overheard a call on the radio stating security was needed at a hanger. We followed the security truck to the hanger and turns out the guy just got back from flying his plane and needed a ride to the other side of the airport to get his vehicle. I notice in his hanger was a white h2, i asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said yes. He said he sold his vacation home in Colorado a couple of months ago and had the h2 stored in the garage there to use while he was on vacation. Turns out it is a white h2 with adventure package and has 33k miles and he is the original owner. I asked how much thinking the price would be high because of the condition and mileage. He said he wants 15k for it and gave me the keys and said to take it to the fire station and look it over and test drive it. He said if i don't want it then to park it along side his hanger and toss the keys under the door. But if i wanted to buy it to give him a call and we will get together for the sale. So i will be meeting him in the morning to give him the money. Car-fax verified everything is good so now the wife will be happy. I feel today was my lucky day because down here in TX you cant touch one in this condition with this low miles for under 20k. So now it is time to mod it.
