New H3 owner w/ pics!
 

Hello! Thought I'd finally make a newb post from S.E. Michigan. After asking about H3's vs jeeps, I went out on black Friday and found a steal of a deal on a 2009 H3 Base w/ 40k miles. Tow package, no cold/sweaty leather or leaky sunroof to deal with. I absolutely love it. First mod from the dealer was a 23" T Bar crank, alignment, and 305/70/16 Duratracs. I also made a steel intake tube after reading about basic mods. Here are some pics. Hauling 14 rolls of insulation, engine pic, etc.. I need a 33" spare tire if anyone local wants to trade for my 265/75/16 spare.

I'd like to come along on an adventure, other than that I just enjoy the bad weather with it. After reading about these Atlas engines, I'm actually thinking about putting a warmed over 4.2 I-6 in my Camaro now instead of a Duramax. Seems to be a lot less of an aftermarket for it though and nobody can tune them for forced induction.

Kool, Where in SE MI are you located? I'm in Bloomfield, 75 and Square Lake.

Just bought a historic home in Dearborn, that's what the insulation was for in the pics... A GM fan in Ford country, haha. My cop car crown vic helps me fit in somewhat.... or it makes me look like a cab driver.. hmmmmm
