Default New H3 Alpha owner

I've been looking for a new truck for some time, all my hunting led to the H3 Alpha which I anxiously purchased in August of '07 (first one from the lot) It's graphite metallic with the off-road package. It's my new passion. The first add on was a new series 40 flowmaster, been looking like crazy for engine mods and just not much out there. Been looking like crazy for any kind of REAL OFF-ROAD mods at all, and disappointingly not much of a selection. I was shocked at this past years SEMA ('07) that on the floor for OFF-ROAD After-market parts, there were few vendors with anything H3 other than bling stuff, and all kinds of stuff for Jeep and FJ, I almost snapped, what's the deal? Sorry for the rant but this 4X4 is awesome and it deserves good after-market support. Anyway future mods will be: rocker panel protection, front bumper winch system, roof rack, some Line X treatment, and wheels and tires when it comes time to replace. Thanks for the time and glad to be here.

There are good vendors for all of the items you mentioned. What are you having trouble finding?

3HUMMERS thanks for the reply. Well for example winch bumper systems seem to be few and far between and not enough for competitive pricing, Predator, Tough Country, and Mile Marker all three different setups but I cant seem to find a handful for each. Rocker protection seems to be the same. If you have links please pass 'em on, thanks.

The H3 is the most capable vehicle off road stock. Outside of what you mentioned you don't need any other mods to go wheelin'. Take it out and drive it offroad you'll be impressed. My 07 can tackle just about anything that I throw at it. I bought the rocker panel and driveline protection just so I can go over rocks and not have to worry. The only thing I want to add is a warn winch.

I am not at my computer so I don't have access to my favorites but try www.rocky-road.com for the rocker panel protection. Their Super Sliders are very good, much better than the GM version. All of the winch/bumper combinations are expensive and I have only seen a handful of different versions. I am not sure there is a good deal to be had on those. The guys on the forum will have twenty different opinions on tire and wheel combos.
